Eight Squires and Two Counselors from St. Francis Xavier Columbian Squires Circle 4681 attended the 2009 Convention. All the Goals laid out of by the Ontario Provincial Board for Fraternal year 2008/2009 were met beyond expectations.

“Made to Worship” - Spiritual Event was held in March 2009 in Oshawa.
• Goal B: Draw Circles closer to increase ties and communications.
-A highly successful Survivor Squires Camp that assembled Circles from across Ontario was held in October 2008.
• Goal C: Recruitment to meet future needs.
-In November 2008 at the “Tournament of Champions” 55 new Squires were invested.
All Squires and Counselors had a superb weekend at the Convention. After Registration on Friday Evening, an Investiture was held for 4 new Squires. Guest of Honor included Yvon Robert - State Deputy. Arthur L. Peters - State Secretary of Ontario State Council Knights of Columbus. This was followed by a meeting for Marshalls and Counselors.

Lunch, a Workshop-Town Meeting and a Bowling Tournament followed. Mass was celebrated by Provincial Father Prior, Fr. Phillip Kennedy. Squire Darren Pereira was an altar server and Micah Remedios read the second Reading. A special mention was made for Squire Kishore Johnson during the Offertory prayers. We wish him a speedy recovery.
