Pope Benedict XVI
"The selection of Cardinal Ratzinger as the successor to John Paul II indicates clearly that the College of Cardinals wanted to continue the direction and the tremendous accomplishment of the past 27 years," said Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson. "Like John Paul II, Benedict XVI is both a strong leader and a brilliant theologian. ... The cardinals could not have picked a person who was closer to John Paul II, personally and doctrinally, than the man who is now Pope Benedict XVI."

Shuttle assistance required
Dear Brother,
As Chancellor for our council, Vocations is one of my duties so I'm asking for some volunteers to transport delegates arriving at Toronto International Airport on Sunday, April 24, 2005 for "The Vocations Directors Conference".
There are about 34 delegates who will be arriving on 20 different flights from across Canada at Pearson International Airport. Flights are scheduled to arrive between the hours of 7:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m. and brothers are required to shuttle these delegates to the Marriott Courtyard Hotel on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto.
If you can assist the Western District with this worthy duty on behalf of our council, please indicate your time preference so we can coordinate with other brothers and councils.
Regards,
Bro. Valens
