 Bro. Savio Pereira was awarded "Knight of the Month" for April 2006. Bro. Savio is a Knight with many talents. His hard work and dedication at the bingo events is exemplary. He was MC at the Knights last Anniversary Dance. He has also volunteered to represent our Council for the Carlo Fadini Cancer Fund raiser. Congratulations and well done Bro. Savio. |

Rosary Apostolate
ROSARY APOSTOLATE IN OUR SCHOOLS.
The Rosary Apostolate was started by a nun - Sr Marilina Cinelli to teach the Rosary in the Schools. Once a month, Rosary Apostolate Volunteers teach each class separately. It has been very successful and we are now in more than 200 schools in Toronto and surrounding areas. This is a very important mission of Our Blessed Mother, especially in these times when there is so much bullying & violence in the schools. Our Spiritual Advisor is Bishop Lacey. Expenses are incurred in purchasing Rosaries for each child and to cover miscellneous costs including printing and regular Police checks for each of the Rosary Volunteer to the Schools. Knights of Columbus 1st Annual Fertilizer Sale
The Knights 1st. Annual Fertilizer Sale on April 8, 2006 worked out very well. I was very impressed with the organization, especially the pick up procedures - well done! A dedicated team of Volunteer Knights and Squires were on hand to help during the event inspite of the chilly weather. Thanks to all who placed orders and supported this event. 500 Birthday Anniversay Celebration of St. Francis Xavier
It was a great celebration, Friday night, April 7, 2007 - the 500th anniversary of the birth of St. Francis Xavier. The Church, filled to capacity, was overwhelmed by the many celebrants, the choir was simply magnificent. They captured the spirit of St. Francis Xavier with: "Will you come and follow me if I call you by name?" from their opening song The Summons. >>click here for more pictures.
