Brothers,
It is with great sadness and deep regret that I inform you of the passing of Brother Ron Thomas, a Charter Member of our council and our Financial Secretary. He suffered a heart attack at our pot luck dinner last night.
Our sincere condolences go to his wife Valerie, his family and friends. Ron was a great friend to all of us, a strong supporter of the Church, the Knights, the Noon Choir, Carmel Heights, and many, many others. He will be sorely missed.
Please remember Brother Ron in your prayers. May the Lord of all welcome Ron into his eternal kingdom and grant him peace. Also please pray for his family during this difficult time. I will pass on more details as soon as funeral arrangements have been made.
Fraternally,

First Annual International Family Pot Luck. Fri Feb 24, 2006 @ 7.45pm

Dear Brothers,

Welcome to the Knights of Columbus Council 12067’s First Annual International Family Pot Luck. This is nothing more than the ‘Pot Luck’ everyone is used to, but with a twist. Our aim here is to encourage the participation of all Bro. Knights and their families. Please bring along a dish (hopefully with food in it) but we would like to go further and encourage you to bring a food dish that is native or traditional to your culture. Try not to settle for a bucket of KFC. As usual, the council will provide beverages.

We hope to make this event a fun filled one and a memorable one at that. There will be entertainment and games for the families and may even have some karaoke, with brothers Ron, Luis and Alan.
As we have quite a few members signed up. Let’s all decide on a dish and notify us, so all the members can enjoy a variety. Please use the comments feature at the bottom of this posting to notify us or email: kofc12067@yahoo.com
To avoid wastage of food, please limit the portions for 6 - 8 people.

For details please contact : Bro. Albert Green - Tel: 905-501-0581
